"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you."
~Friedrich Nietzsche

such an anti-religious nutcase... and yet he DID write some very good advice for humanity.

sort of the George Carlin of his time I suppose

Today I rode a different horse than usual (his name is howard). he was pretty cool, but it was muddy out today, and after a good minute into the ride (not very long at all) my foot slipped out of the stirrup and ZOOM! off he went.. with me going 'oh...this will not end well' as I finally got him to slow down I attempted to put my right foot back in... and he went ZOOM! off again.

yesyesyes, i did not fall off (and Courtney said I am the ONLY person who has'nt fallen off when he has done that kind of thing), but damn was it weird with only one foot in the stirrup.

needless to say i was a weeeee bit strict with him for the rest of the ride.

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."
~H.P. Lovecraft

I always liked that quote, because he is so great at never telling us about these monsters he makes in his stories... BUT THEY STILL SCARE THE SHIT OUTTA PEOPLE!

and it is also interesting to see the things that people paint from reading his works. Creatures like "Cthulhu" and "dagon" were never properly described to us so we tend to see the most fearful images we can conjure in our own minds.

The great thing about him as a writer is that he makes us (the readers) really do all of the work. he just laid the blueprints... but we built the house.

I found this site at the top of my favorites list, so I decided to check it out and maybe make an entry. looks like everything is pretty much the same with everyone. As for me, i am currently trying to find a ride down to boston to see Dir en Grey in February...i get the feeling it's not going to happen but i am still hopeful. I don't really do much anymore. my schedule is : school, work, WoW, and then hang out with people for a couple hours. i suppose not much has changed then... oh well. sweet dreams, all

INTJ -The Mastermind
You scored 9% I to E, 10% N to S, 66% F to T, and 36% J to P!
You are more introverted than extroverted. You are more intuitive than observant, you are more thinking based than feeling based, and you prefer to have a plan rather than leaving things to chance. Your type is best described by the word "mastermind", which belongs to the larger group called rationals. Only 1% of the population shares your type. You are very strong willed and self-confident. You can hardly rest until you have things settled. You will only adopt ideas and rules if they make sense. You are a great brainstormer and often come up with creative solutions to difficult problems. You are open to new concepts, and often actively seek them out.
As a romantic partner, you can be both fascinating yet demanding. You are not apt to express your emotions, leaving your partner wondering where they are with you. You strongly dislike repeating yourself or listening to the disorganized process of sorting through emotional conflicts. You see your own commitments as self-evident and don't see why you need to repeat something already expressed. You have the most difficulty in admitting your vulnerabilities. You feel the most appreciated when your partner admires the quality of your innovations and when they listen respectfully to your ideas and advice. You need plenty of quiet to explore your interests to the depth that gives you satisfaction.
Your group summary: rationals (NT)
Your type summary: INTJ
